============================================================ TRANSCRIPTION WITH SPEAKERS ============================================================ [00:00] SPEAKER_01: Welcome to Candace Podcast. [00:05] SPEAKER_02: Hi, I'm Cynthia Lawkry with Candace Podcast, where we talk to entrepreneurs who are making [00:12] SPEAKER_02: it happen right here in BC. [00:15] SPEAKER_02: Today, I'm joined by Benjamin Achachi, who comes from the south of France. [00:21] SPEAKER_02: Growing up, it came naturally for him to respect his environment and everything in it. [00:27] SPEAKER_02: His career path led him to Canada, where he was lucky to meet his partner, [00:33] SPEAKER_02: Mauritia, while looking for ways to improve our well-being. [00:37] SPEAKER_02: They discovered Marine, Fyctoplanctin, and this resulted in Marifel Marine Fyctoplanctin, [00:46] SPEAKER_02: a line of products dedicated to Fyctoplanctin. [00:49] SPEAKER_02: I may have messed up some of that's pronunciation there, Benjamin, but welcome to Candace Podcast. [00:57] SPEAKER_02: Why don't we jump in by you telling us a bit about your current business and the work you do? [01:02] SPEAKER_00: Thank you very much, Cynthia, for following me on the podcast, the pleasure to spend that time with you [01:07] SPEAKER_00: today. Happyly, I discussed about the company. So, as you mentioned, I came to Canada for University [01:15] SPEAKER_00: first, many years ago now, that was 2005. And after you need, we'll work with you in Montreal and [01:22] SPEAKER_00: came to Vancouver in 2015. I don't know, I met my wife and we launched a company two years after [01:30] SPEAKER_00: that. In between, I got exposed to Marine Fyctoplanctin with her and we pretty much had the farm [01:39] SPEAKER_00: is managed by a family members of hers and then we got to know it and got grew an immense [01:46] SPEAKER_00: interest in it. And we decided to pretty much create a brand and to promote those products and [01:53] SPEAKER_00: to be pretty much the exclusive partner of that farm in order to present and bring a Marine Fyctoplanctin [02:01] SPEAKER_00: product to the world. The Marine Fyctoplanctin is truly an amazing product, I'm sure we'll talk more [02:07] SPEAKER_00: here, but we are very happy to bring that whole range of products to Canada and beyond. [02:15] SPEAKER_02: And we can see behind you for those best who are watching this on YouTube, for our listeners, [02:21] SPEAKER_02: you are located on Vancouver Island and so a beautiful setting. [02:28] SPEAKER_00: Yes, exactly. We are about half an hour south of Nanaimo. What you see here is one of the [02:33] SPEAKER_00: tank that we are the Fyctoplanctin from. So, as you can see, it's really by the sea that it's [02:40] SPEAKER_00: just a tiny bit behind, but it's just the perspective because the beach is right there. [02:44] SPEAKER_00: And the reason why the tanks are on shore, because we were growing Fyctoplanctin into the sea, [02:51] SPEAKER_00: all the marine life were eating it and therefore we do not do much and we'll walk through the [02:57] SPEAKER_00: process, but it's truly a natural process that is fantastic for the environment and we make [03:04] SPEAKER_02: the most amazing products for it. Excellent. So, why don't you tell us, I'm curious how you [03:10] SPEAKER_02: decide it to be an entrepreneur when there's so many other routes to go? [03:16] SPEAKER_00: You know, I mean, it came down to really, I mean, sound mimically shared, but I always wanted [03:22] SPEAKER_00: as a kid to have the own business, but after, you know, there is so many paths, you know, you start [03:28] SPEAKER_00: with school university and then you get your job and we're still there in the back of your mind. [03:34] SPEAKER_00: And really, you know, you can learn anything, but in my mind, I was like, you know, I really want [03:38] SPEAKER_00: to learn something that was meaningful, not just for me, but also for the planet and something [03:44] SPEAKER_00: that truly, that we could make a difference and also obviously that we couldn't make succeed, [03:49] SPEAKER_00: because obviously, you know, failure is part of the life of an entrepreneur, but I [03:54] SPEAKER_00: ideally speaking, you want to limit the amount of failure you have still, right? Even if you do [03:58] SPEAKER_00: learn a lot from it, but it's still painful, right? Emotionally. So, so here, you know, it took [04:04] SPEAKER_00: a bit of time, but yeah, when we first got exposed to my infactor plankton, the idea really [04:11] SPEAKER_00: seated right away in a head that, you know, it will be fantastic to work alongside [04:17] SPEAKER_00: the fighter plankton and the opportunity came for it and we jumped right away at it and we created [04:25] SPEAKER_00: a company and created the lines of product and, and yeah, and here we are seven, eight years later [04:31] SPEAKER_00: and hopefully going on for many, many more years. So, is there a piece of knowledge or information [04:40] SPEAKER_02: about your industry because it is unique that may be of interest to our listeners? [04:47] SPEAKER_00: Of course, the factor plankton, what it is, it's really macro-algae that you want to know, [04:54] SPEAKER_00: and they grow exponentially really. It's the base of the food chain in the ocean. There is [05:00] SPEAKER_00: nothing below it. There'll be no life without my infactor plankton. It's been around for billions [05:05] SPEAKER_00: of years, even on land right now, the air that you read, Cynthia, and the hair that all the [05:10] SPEAKER_00: listeners are breathing right now, 75% of that air comes from my infactor plankton. So, it's really [05:17] SPEAKER_00: a necessary part of life on Earth and it's very important to preserve it and for people to be [05:24] SPEAKER_00: aware of it so we can continue protecting it and making sure it stays there and we we take good [05:31] SPEAKER_00: care of it because without it, you know, we will not exist as a species and obviously, you know, our [05:37] SPEAKER_01: ocean will be completely dead without it. With over 700 episodes and 500 news articles, we are [05:44] SPEAKER_01: going to do a lot of research. [05:47] SPEAKER_01: Canada's podcast.com subscribe now. [05:50] SPEAKER_01: So, what are you most proud of in terms of the work that you're doing? [05:55] SPEAKER_00: Honestly, to have the full impact from beginning to end, to help the environment, you know, [06:05] SPEAKER_00: we take a resource from the event that the modern nature gives us and we make it available [06:11] SPEAKER_00: to most while making sure it's preserved. [06:15] SPEAKER_00: During our testing process, [06:17] SPEAKER_00: we pump ocean water into those tanks that you see behind me [06:21] SPEAKER_00: and we let the fighter plankton reproduce our best, [06:25] SPEAKER_00: because it's a plant, right? [06:26] SPEAKER_00: So just reproduce naturally, [06:28] SPEAKER_00: just like any plant on land. [06:30] SPEAKER_00: At the end of the process, [06:32] SPEAKER_00: when we pretty much are tanks that capacity, [06:35] SPEAKER_00: we keep some of the arvests, [06:36] SPEAKER_00: but we send back a lot of it more than what we take originally. [06:41] SPEAKER_00: So this way we make sure that we just pull [06:43] SPEAKER_00: from more nature and nothing else. [06:46] SPEAKER_00: And obviously, the arvests in process is complete natural. [06:48] SPEAKER_00: As you can see right now, [06:49] SPEAKER_00: it's sunny in the ocean on that photo [06:51] SPEAKER_00: and it's sunny in our tanks. [06:52] SPEAKER_00: If it was snowing, you would be snowing in our tanks. [06:54] SPEAKER_00: There is no really control, [06:57] SPEAKER_00: like human control on the environment [06:59] SPEAKER_00: that the fighter plankton grows. [07:01] SPEAKER_00: So it's really the same fighter plankton [07:02] SPEAKER_00: that the wells are feeding on, [07:04] SPEAKER_00: is the fighter plankton that we harvest. [07:06] SPEAKER_00: And so for that, first to have that impact [07:11] SPEAKER_00: zeroing part because on that tank, [07:14] SPEAKER_00: when it grows, it captures the same way as the plant, [07:16] SPEAKER_00: it captures CO2 and releases oxygen. [07:19] SPEAKER_00: So just from that production process, [07:22] SPEAKER_00: we are negative carbon, if you wanna say. [07:26] SPEAKER_00: And on top of it, the product that we produce from it, [07:30] SPEAKER_00: obviously, all our photos and stuff [07:32] SPEAKER_00: is all from recycled content. [07:35] SPEAKER_00: We strive to be on a more like biodegradable, [07:40] SPEAKER_00: it's coming, this is not our effective, [07:43] SPEAKER_00: but it's gonna come and then it will be there as well. [07:46] SPEAKER_00: But where the product that we do [07:49] SPEAKER_00: and promote in our best salary is the plant food, [07:51] SPEAKER_00: is to pretty much give high quality constraints [07:54] SPEAKER_00: to the soil, which are very depleted nowadays. [07:57] SPEAKER_00: And even if you put any organic product in it, [08:01] SPEAKER_00: it's not necessarily good for the soil. [08:05] SPEAKER_00: And obviously any chemical product [08:07] SPEAKER_00: is not even starting there because it's extremely, extremely bad. [08:12] SPEAKER_00: So just to be able to have that full scope [08:14] SPEAKER_00: of beginning to end, to have a beautiful product [08:17] SPEAKER_00: that takes care of the environment, [08:19] SPEAKER_00: that helps the people grow their own food, [08:21] SPEAKER_00: take care of their plant, naturally and organically, [08:24] SPEAKER_00: it's just a fantastic product and ID for us, [08:29] SPEAKER_00: that we were trying to push to the maximum. [08:32] SPEAKER_02: So you've had quite the journey as an entrepreneur. [08:36] SPEAKER_02: If somebody's listening today who's thinking, [08:39] SPEAKER_02: oh, I'm debating, taking that leap to be an entrepreneur, [08:43] SPEAKER_02: is there any advice that you'd give them? [08:46] SPEAKER_00: For sure, it's not easy, but really if you're driven, [08:49] SPEAKER_00: go for it because there is nothing more rewarding [08:53] SPEAKER_00: than having your own business. [08:55] SPEAKER_00: Of course it comes with a huge amount of challenges, [08:58] SPEAKER_00: but if you're thinking of that idea, [09:01] SPEAKER_00: I don't think that's the first thing you want to hear, [09:03] SPEAKER_00: but at least to be aware of it, it is tough. [09:08] SPEAKER_00: There is ups and downs, big hubs and big big towns, [09:12] SPEAKER_00: but if you trust in what you're doing, [09:14] SPEAKER_00: if you're passionate about it, it will be good at the end. [09:20] SPEAKER_00: And that's what matters. [09:21] SPEAKER_00: And I think that's the light that you have to keep seeing [09:25] SPEAKER_00: at the end in order to push through and to continue [09:29] SPEAKER_00: because it's not easy, [09:31] SPEAKER_00: but there is a lot of possibilities nowadays [09:34] SPEAKER_00: to have a successful business [09:36] SPEAKER_00: and successful to come from very, very different aspect, [09:40] SPEAKER_00: it's not just money. [09:41] SPEAKER_00: So don't hesitate to go for it, push for it, [09:45] SPEAKER_00: obviously it takes out of work, [09:48] SPEAKER_00: but there's a lot of support nowadays as well. [09:50] SPEAKER_00: Thanks for the, we are in a country [09:52] SPEAKER_00: that supports as entrepreneurs [09:53] SPEAKER_00: and it prevents that support as entrepreneurs. [09:56] SPEAKER_00: So don't hesitate to reach for help as well, [09:59] SPEAKER_00: regardless of your background. [10:01] SPEAKER_00: And yeah, if you're passionate for it, go for it. [10:04] SPEAKER_00: It will succeed. [10:06] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I love that. [10:07] SPEAKER_02: There is a lot of support, especially post COVID. [10:11] SPEAKER_02: There's even more support out there for those of you [10:15] SPEAKER_02: that are considering being an entrepreneur. [10:17] SPEAKER_02: You don't have to go it alone. [10:19] SPEAKER_00: Exactly. [10:21] SPEAKER_02: So let's talk about BC. [10:24] SPEAKER_02: Your business is based on Vancouver Island, [10:27] SPEAKER_02: and mine's on Vancouver Island. [10:29] SPEAKER_02: So what are some of the benefits of being based in BC? [10:34] SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, number one, [10:36] SPEAKER_00: it is a beautiful province, right? [10:38] SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, [10:39] SPEAKER_00: all Canada is beautiful, [10:41] SPEAKER_00: the BC is a special place for sure, [10:44] SPEAKER_00: you know, just between the, [10:45] SPEAKER_00: the mix of ocean, mountain, wildlife, [10:49] SPEAKER_00: it has a special place for sure. [10:52] SPEAKER_00: I feel, you know, me, my business has always been in BC, [10:56] SPEAKER_00: but so far it has been supportive. [10:59] SPEAKER_00: Obviously, there is always areas where, you know, [11:02] SPEAKER_00: you grow frustrated as an entrepreneur, [11:04] SPEAKER_00: you know, some of information that is not fully accessible [11:07] SPEAKER_00: or not believed for you only, [11:10] SPEAKER_00: but there is always something that you can find [11:12] SPEAKER_00: where people can help you, [11:14] SPEAKER_00: and that could be funding that can be, you know, [11:17] SPEAKER_00: help with values entrepreneurs. [11:20] SPEAKER_00: So really BC is a great province to be in, [11:24] SPEAKER_00: but that would be just for me, [11:27] SPEAKER_00: it's just so beautiful. [11:28] SPEAKER_00: It is a beautiful province, [11:30] SPEAKER_00: and you know, we are very, very happy to have a business here, [11:33] SPEAKER_00: and we will continue to have it there for the years ahead. [11:37] SPEAKER_02: And so what are some of the challenges [11:39] SPEAKER_02: of being located on the West Coast? [11:43] SPEAKER_00: For sure, you know, [11:44] SPEAKER_00: it is a West Coast, [11:46] SPEAKER_00: and we are, because of those mountains between BC and other [11:49] SPEAKER_00: sites, too, like we are a bit alone in Canada, [11:53] SPEAKER_00: and the big population is out east, [11:58] SPEAKER_00: we are representing more than half of the population of Canada. [12:01] SPEAKER_00: So on our end, the challenges is, you know, [12:04] SPEAKER_00: when we're shipping is very expensive, [12:06] SPEAKER_00: right now, there is like exploded since COVID, [12:08] SPEAKER_00: it wasn't really expensive before, [12:10] SPEAKER_00: there's been even more now. [12:11] SPEAKER_00: So of course, you know, when we ship a product, [12:15] SPEAKER_00: most of them goes to the East Coast, [12:16] SPEAKER_00: because the wayhouses are there, [12:19] SPEAKER_00: you know, of course, there is some wayhouses in BC [12:21] SPEAKER_00: and in Alberta, but most of them are in Ontario, of course. [12:25] SPEAKER_00: And so shipping there takes its toll money-wise. [12:30] SPEAKER_00: So that's a big challenge for us, [12:33] SPEAKER_00: and we feel as well, you know, [12:35] SPEAKER_00: yes, BC is very supportive, [12:36] SPEAKER_00: but you know, again, just because there is less amount of people, [12:40] SPEAKER_00: you know, we feel that sometimes there is even more support [12:42] SPEAKER_00: out east, but you know, I guess, you know, [12:45] SPEAKER_00: it's not all about ocean and mountains, [12:47] SPEAKER_00: you got to be some little drawbacks as well. [12:50] SPEAKER_01: Stay ahead of the game with our expert tips and strategies [12:53] SPEAKER_01: that will help your business thrive in a digital era. [12:57] SPEAKER_01: Canada's podcast.com subscribe now. [13:00] SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's definitely a trade off, [13:02] SPEAKER_02: and I hear that a lot from entrepreneurs. [13:05] SPEAKER_02: I've spoken to entrepreneurs that 90% of their business [13:08] SPEAKER_02: is in Ontario and they're based in BC, [13:11] SPEAKER_02: and they said, even though it puts extra hurdles, [13:15] SPEAKER_02: they would never give that up. [13:17] SPEAKER_00: And even me, it's the more there, [13:18] SPEAKER_00: because from the island, [13:19] SPEAKER_00: I mean, just from the island to Vancouver, [13:22] SPEAKER_00: that's an extra challenge right there. [13:24] SPEAKER_00: That's because the few hundred dollar propellate [13:26] SPEAKER_00: that goes, so it's not easy for sure. [13:29] SPEAKER_00: But thanks for, you know, we have a unique product, [13:32] SPEAKER_00: and we feel like people are supporting us for that. [13:35] SPEAKER_00: So we make it work somehow. [13:38] SPEAKER_02: So let's talk about success. [13:40] SPEAKER_02: How do you define success, but more importantly, [13:43] SPEAKER_02: how do you celebrate it? [13:46] SPEAKER_00: For me, defining success can take very, very much [13:50] SPEAKER_00: value of the aspect. [13:51] SPEAKER_00: Obviously, there is the money aspect, [13:56] SPEAKER_00: right, as a business, [13:57] SPEAKER_00: it's, you have to be profitable [13:59] SPEAKER_00: on how to continue going. [14:02] SPEAKER_00: So that's one. [14:03] SPEAKER_00: But also, and it's definitely not the only one. [14:08] SPEAKER_00: Markfield is a benefit company out of BC. [14:11] SPEAKER_00: So we changed that two years ago when we became a B-Core, [14:15] SPEAKER_00: and we're very proud of that. [14:16] SPEAKER_00: And that's something that's kind of unique to BC, [14:19] SPEAKER_00: where you still pour profit, [14:21] SPEAKER_00: but as a benefit company, [14:24] SPEAKER_00: you have to take steps with your shareholders, [14:27] SPEAKER_00: which in our case, it's just me and my wife are answer, [14:31] SPEAKER_00: but you have to take steps in order to make sure [14:33] SPEAKER_00: that your decision, in fact, [14:36] SPEAKER_00: impact the benefit of the environmental benefit [14:39] SPEAKER_00: of good in your community. [14:41] SPEAKER_00: But that's a big thing for us that we're very proud of, [14:44] SPEAKER_00: and that we find success. [14:45] SPEAKER_00: Obviously, we give 1% of ourselves as well [14:48] SPEAKER_00: to our physicians that protect the ocean. [14:51] SPEAKER_00: So that's a big success for us as well. [14:54] SPEAKER_00: And if after you know as an entrepreneur, [14:57] SPEAKER_00: of course, you are going to have time [14:58] SPEAKER_00: where it's going to take a bit time away from your family, [15:01] SPEAKER_00: but at the same time, in some occasions, [15:04] SPEAKER_00: you have that freedom to be with family. [15:07] SPEAKER_00: And that for me, has no price, right? [15:10] SPEAKER_00: It is the ultimate gift to be present. [15:15] SPEAKER_00: I have two dollars, one very, very young. [15:17] SPEAKER_00: So that's the ultimate gift for me [15:21] SPEAKER_00: that to be able to be there all the time with them [15:24] SPEAKER_00: if needs be. [15:26] SPEAKER_02: Absolutely. [15:27] SPEAKER_02: As a parent, that is a big deal for me as well. [15:31] SPEAKER_02: So on the other side, how do you deal with fear and doubt [15:35] SPEAKER_02: because, like you said, you've got shipping, [15:38] SPEAKER_02: you've got different parts of Canada you're dealing with. [15:42] SPEAKER_02: And then there's just the general fear and doubt [15:44] SPEAKER_02: that can creep in. [15:45] SPEAKER_02: How do you manage that? [15:48] SPEAKER_00: It's definitely not easy. [15:50] SPEAKER_00: You have to, like I said earlier, [15:53] SPEAKER_00: you're going to have ups and downs and big ups and big downs. [15:57] SPEAKER_00: What's important is that you have to keep the focus [15:59] SPEAKER_00: on your initial ID and your business, [16:04] SPEAKER_00: what you strive to do and the change you want to do. [16:08] SPEAKER_00: And then continue and pushing through those whoops. [16:12] SPEAKER_00: It's not going to be easy. [16:13] SPEAKER_00: You're going to have moments where you're going to rethink everything. [16:18] SPEAKER_00: Even now, there is still that we did at the beginning [16:20] SPEAKER_00: that we are fixing now. [16:23] SPEAKER_00: And you're like, why did I do this? [16:24] SPEAKER_00: Why did I spend that money here? [16:26] SPEAKER_00: It's pointless. [16:27] SPEAKER_00: But that's the perks of being in the corner. [16:30] SPEAKER_00: And that's the challenges that's come with it [16:32] SPEAKER_00: with everything that you decide at any stage in your business. [16:39] SPEAKER_00: You're going to rethink it down the line. [16:41] SPEAKER_00: And you're going to be like, why did I do this? [16:42] SPEAKER_00: So make sure I should have done this. [16:43] SPEAKER_00: And it doesn't mean that the decision that we took back then, [16:46] SPEAKER_00: if we were with the thinking that we have now [16:49] SPEAKER_00: would have done something else, [16:51] SPEAKER_00: it doesn't mean that it would have been successful. [16:52] SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that it would have get you where we are right now. [16:54] SPEAKER_00: Maybe we're getting us to a better place, [16:57] SPEAKER_00: but maybe in a worse place as well. [17:01] SPEAKER_00: So I think it's important to learn where you come from [17:05] SPEAKER_00: and what you've gone through with your business [17:08] SPEAKER_00: and push your IDs. [17:10] SPEAKER_00: Again, if you're passionate, push for it, it will work. [17:14] SPEAKER_00: There is work and there is space for everyone. [17:19] SPEAKER_00: Every single ID can come from somewhere and can be a success. [17:24] SPEAKER_00: So don't hesitate to bring those forward. [17:27] SPEAKER_00: There is always a support. [17:29] SPEAKER_00: There is always an exploit. [17:31] SPEAKER_00: So if you face Tranget, if you're not sure, [17:35] SPEAKER_00: recenter, strategize with your team or with yourself [17:38] SPEAKER_00: or with the support that you're getting [17:39] SPEAKER_00: and push to go back to your basics. [17:45] SPEAKER_00: And rethink where you want to go. [17:48] SPEAKER_00: And your ID is going to be there and it's going to get you where you want to be. [17:53] SPEAKER_01: Join our thriving community of like-minded individuals [17:55] SPEAKER_01: who share a passion for success and innovation. [17:59] SPEAKER_01: Canada's podcast.com subscribe now. [18:02] SPEAKER_02: Now, to do all of this, to juggle all these balls, [18:07] SPEAKER_02: you have to have a bit of self-care and that work-life balance. [18:11] SPEAKER_02: So what is it that you do to make sure you have that balance you need? [18:18] SPEAKER_00: It's not easy. [18:20] SPEAKER_00: As a young father as well. [18:21] SPEAKER_00: But your father, your father of your child, [18:24] SPEAKER_00: it's not easy to find time. [18:26] SPEAKER_00: When I have time away from the business, [18:28] SPEAKER_00: I have to be getting to my family, of course. [18:32] SPEAKER_00: But I love and with my family, we love to spend time in nature. [18:37] SPEAKER_00: Whenever we can to discover and learn about culture, [18:41] SPEAKER_00: that can be at home or abroad. [18:43] SPEAKER_00: Canada is very multicultural. [18:45] SPEAKER_00: There is a ton of things to learn from everyone. [18:48] SPEAKER_00: But also, traveling, spending time in nature, [18:51] SPEAKER_00: just pretty much offsetting a bit. [18:55] SPEAKER_00: Sometimes you need, right? [18:56] SPEAKER_00: So don't hesitate to take that break when you need it [19:00] SPEAKER_00: to resource yourself and get your focus again on your momentum. [19:05] SPEAKER_00: But still for me, it's a lot. [19:07] SPEAKER_00: It's been time in nature, a bit of sport. [19:09] SPEAKER_00: I play tennis, I ski whenever we can. [19:13] SPEAKER_00: Not so great this year. [19:14] SPEAKER_00: But otherwise, that's why. [19:19] SPEAKER_00: So really simple. [19:21] SPEAKER_00: Take a bit of a bit of exercise, eat well, eat healthy, [19:26] SPEAKER_00: and discover culture, think, [19:28] SPEAKER_00: shut down your mind, think of something else, [19:31] SPEAKER_00: really book anything, it's good. [19:35] SPEAKER_00: It's good for your mental health. [19:37] SPEAKER_02: And years ago, somebody said to me, [19:39] SPEAKER_02: the number one way you can grow your business [19:42] SPEAKER_02: to grow your career is to hit pause. [19:45] SPEAKER_02: And to give that space, so that go, go, go, [19:50] SPEAKER_02: can actually harm you so it. [19:52] SPEAKER_02: And we're blessed that we are surrounded by nature. [19:56] SPEAKER_00: Exactly, that is very, very true. [19:58] SPEAKER_00: You can very quickly get caught up in the day today [20:01] SPEAKER_00: and always wanting to answer emails and answer chat [20:06] SPEAKER_00: and answer clients and businesses. [20:08] SPEAKER_00: But sometimes 24 hours is not going to stop. [20:13] SPEAKER_00: We have a couple of hours or even if you need to take [20:16] SPEAKER_00: sometimes a bit more, take a bit more, [20:18] SPEAKER_00: take the time you need, everything's going to be there [20:20] SPEAKER_00: where when you come back, if everything falls around [20:27] SPEAKER_00: because you shut down for a few hours, [20:29] SPEAKER_00: then there is something more, right? [20:30] SPEAKER_00: Something should be able to maintain. [20:33] SPEAKER_00: You should strive for that. [20:35] SPEAKER_00: And yet, you're getting. [20:37] SPEAKER_02: Excellent. [20:38] SPEAKER_02: So as we wrap up today, [20:41] SPEAKER_02: is there any advice you've been given, any book you've read, [20:45] SPEAKER_02: any nugget of information that resonates with you [20:50] SPEAKER_02: that you want to share with our listeners? [20:53] SPEAKER_00: We see it around the world. [20:54] SPEAKER_00: So we take care of yourself, your family, your friends. [20:58] SPEAKER_00: And that goes as well for your business. [21:01] SPEAKER_00: Don't be hesitate to hit pause and follow your passion, [21:05] SPEAKER_00: follow your strength. [21:07] SPEAKER_00: It would be there for me. [21:09] SPEAKER_00: The big thing is I love the environment. [21:12] SPEAKER_00: So for me, it was to find something linked to that. [21:16] SPEAKER_00: There was a big thing for me. [21:18] SPEAKER_00: So reading books under the environment, [21:20] SPEAKER_00: being aware of where things come from, [21:23] SPEAKER_00: where things are made, where our foods comes from. [21:27] SPEAKER_00: That was a big thing for me. [21:29] SPEAKER_00: So don't be afraid to be inquisitive about things [21:35] SPEAKER_00: look for it, do your research, [21:38] SPEAKER_00: blur, don't stop learning. [21:39] SPEAKER_00: You can learn at any age and then push through after. [21:45] SPEAKER_02: I love that. [21:45] SPEAKER_02: Don't stop learning. [21:47] SPEAKER_02: I think that's what makes entrepreneurs [21:49] SPEAKER_02: that are successful rise above is by realizing [21:53] SPEAKER_02: we don't know it all. [21:55] SPEAKER_02: It's all a journey and we can change our word. [21:59] SPEAKER_00: Absolutely, absolutely.
